is committed to creating communities

the full range of freedom and opportunity

Outdoor Explorations makes the
outdoors a welcoming place to people
with disabilities. Through our innovative,
cooperative, and fun approach, we
break down the barriers that prevent
people from living life to the fullest.
Our adventure programs, training,
and community service enable people
of all abilities to discover and
value their own and others' unique
strengths. |

Programs |
| People with disabilities
still face barriers in many aspects
of their lives, and the outdoors
remains inaccessible for many. Outdoor
Explorations opens a world of adventure
for everyone through kayaking, sailing,
snowshoeing, and other outdoor activities.
We help people with all types of
disabilities experience the outdoor
freedom that others take for granted.
We use adaptive equipment, a cooperative
attitude, and a lot of good humor
to create enjoyable, empowering adventures.
Our programs build the kind of shared
success in the outdoors that transforms
people with and without disabilities,
where barriers are broken and new
abilities emerge. |

Involved |
| Whether you just want
to lend a hand on one of our WildWorks
service projects or you want to become
an adventure guide, Outdoor Explorations
has a variety of exciting ways you
can get involved. Our volunteers
participate on many levels: through
board involvement, as adventure and/or
service volunteers, fundraisers,
and public relations representatives.
Not only do our volunteers help run
our programs but they also help promote
the mission of inclusion in their
everyday lives. We welcome you to join
