Merri Pearson

Position at OE: Executive Director

Education:

BA, Central Washington University; MA, University of Puget Sound; EdD, George Washington University.

Background:

Originally from Montana, Merri is a lifelong educator and social activist with twenty years of leadership experience at the local, state, regional, and national levels.

Interests/Hobbies:

Merri enjoys home improvement, pottery, painting, playing the piano, hiking and writing. She also contributes as a volunteer to animal and human rights organizations.


Dave Sheehan

Position at OE:

Everything Finance!

Education:

BA, Finance, UMASS Boston.

Background:

Dave grew up on the South Shore and is an avid ocean swimmer. He is also involved with the Boston punk music scene. Currently working toward his finance degree, he began at OE as an intern and proved himself invaluable to our efforts.

Interestes/Hobbies:

In addition to music, Dave enjoys swimming in the ocean, reading, skateboarding, collecting record albums, trying out new restaurants and foods... as well as watching Pats games.

Shantelle Carmichael

Position at OE: Coordinator of
Marketing, Outreach and Communications.

Education: BS in Public Relations from the University of Florida.

Background: Worked for Toys “R” Us as a Co-District Special Events Coordinator, managing and implementing different community relations tactics. She also worked as a Public Relations assistant for the Arthritis Foundation of Gainesville, Florida.

Interests/Hobbies: Shantelle loves great food, good friends, reading, and traveling throughout the world.
